A Late Victorian Mahogany Fitted Medical Box with central campaign handle, and with its original contents comprising ten large glass bottles, and five smaller bottles all with stoppers, a ceramic mortar, brass scales with weights, a large a small measuring jug plus many tools, vials etc. all of which are shown in the images. The red leather wallet inside the lid is gold stamped 'S. MAW'S PORTABLE DOMESTIC MEDICAL CABINET', and contains a sheet with illustrations of their range of medical chests at that time.
