A Burgundy Leather Miniature Money Safe, with brass swing handle, containing three velvet lined drawers, stamped NOTES, SILVER & GOLD and four leather covered note books titled CASH BOOK, MEMORANDA, ADDRESSES & JOURNAL. The books are in good condition having marbled end papers and having had very little use. One page of the cash book shows expenses dated July 1883. The ceramic writing slate is in good order and retains the original pair of pencils. The black leather frame to the slate is stamped with the retailer's name and registered trade mark. The lock works well with its original key.
