A George V Red Leather Scroll Box C1920 stamped in gold on the bevelled top with the King's Royal Insignia flanked by the the royal crowns, also present on the front. The box is secured by means of a press button latch-lock. It would have originally contained a royal investiture, indenture or knighthood vellum scroll.
