An Edwardian Oak Domestic Post Box retailed by The Army & Navy Stores C1900, with cushioned top, standing on a stepped & splayed plinth, the shuttered brass posting slot engraved 'Letters', the door with a Bramah patent lock converted to be used with a handle, and a large glass display window. The maker's trade label engraved, 'Army & Navy C.S.L.Makers', appears on the inside of the door. (C.S.L. Civil Service Stores).
