GEORGE AUSTIN, St. ANDREWS STREET, DUBLIN
A mid 19th century Rosewood Box C 1850, inlaid on four sides with exceptionally fine mother o' pearl. The interior has the original red silk ruching in the lid, and a velvet lined tray. The mother o' pearl inlay continues along the inside edges, and the ruched panel drops down to reveal a wallet for papers, and also the remnants of Austin's green trade label. The lock is in good working order.
