An attractive 19th Century Coromandel Jewellery Box, cross banded with coromandel, ebony edged and with brass stringing. In front the fitted drawer is released by means of a press button situated between the silver hinges. Hinges & lock etc. are all finely engraved. The interior and removable tray are lined with green morocco leather, edged with gilt tooling, and with matching green ruched silk in the lid. The lock bears the name 'Bramah', and retains its original key.
