A Very Fine Large Oak Stationery Cabinet with carrying handles, the satinwood interior with deckled stationery divisions. The raised section, inlaid with mother O' Pearl ovals engraved 'receipts', 'Accounts', 'Postage', 'Matches', 'Answered', 'Unanswered' incorporates a detachable calendar and a lever watch in good going order. Further contents include a white writing slate, a large leather holder for writing accessories, and a pair of green enamel & brass crown top ink bottles. Two small hidden drawers are revealed when the pen tray is removed. The full width drawer has compartments for stationery and writing implements. The manufacturer's name & address are engraved on two inlaid ovals on the rim of the interior.
