A Small Early 20th Century Red Leather Despatch Box C1920 with a large brass swing carrying handle at the rear, the bevelled top tooled and bearing the initials M.E.B., The Bramah lock has a sliding latch front. The lid springs up when the front of the lock is slid to the right. When the key is turned in the lock the front cannot be moved. You can safely leave the key inside the box. The interior is lined with black leather and has raised sides.
