The front bevel displays the title 'Adjutant General '. The green leather interior has raised sides and is stamped with the maker's name and address on the leading edge.. The four lever lock is in good order with two keys.

He was responsible for developing the Army's personnel policies and supporting its people.He usually held the rank of general or lieutenant general.
