Originally the property of Gwilym Lloyd George (1894-1967), 1st Viscount Tenby, who served as Home Secretary from 1954 to 1957. He was the younger son of David Lloyd George, 1st Earl of Dwyfor, Prime Minister from 1915 to 1922.
