A complete & original Rosewood George IV Period Artist's Watercolour box in excellent condition retaining nearly all of its original contents including::

24 watercolours including 19 stamped 'Newmans Soho Square', the rest stamped with the names Ackermans, Rowney & Winsor & Newton.
A pair of small ceramic pallets
A large oval ceramic pallet with thumb hole stamped Winsor & Newton, Rathbone Place.
A pair of glass jars with stoppers containing powdered paints
A cut glass water jar
A tin container with sliding top containing a large quantity of coloured chalks
A solid rosewood brush tray
A Chinese ink block
A number of artist's. accessories

All contained inside a rosewood veneered box, the top cross banded with rosewood with front drawer with campaign handle containing a large ceramic pallet and secured by means of a brass rod. The lock works well with its original key.
