An Early 19th Century Red Leather Despatch Box C1800, the bevelled top with brass swing handle, and rows of brass studs framing the front, back, lid & sides, the interior lined with the original marbled paper, the working lock with original key.
This box has a rich red mahogany colour and a deep patina. It is in remarkably fine original condition for its age.
