A Late 19th Century Mahogany Country House or Hotel Post Letters Box incorporating a five section Book Rack retailed by Maple & Co.Ltd. London, the sloping top with a brass LETTERS posting slot opening to reveal contents, which can also be viewed through the window below. Times of collections are framed behind glass. At the base there is a brass labelled drawer for telegram forms bearing the Maples' trade label. The lock with key is stamped BRAMAH London and is in good working order.
