A large William IV period Walnut Correspondence / Post / Letter Box, the pierced sides, scalloped & carved with scrolls etc., the scrolled handle carved with sprays of leaves. The workmanship of the carving is exquisite. Hinged covers on either side of the handle have working locks and diamond shaped ivory escutcheons.
