FINNIGAN, MANCHESTER
A 1920's Red Morroco Leather sewing box with a central gilt metal handle and a two lever lock with original key. The initials M.H. appear across the front right corner. Inside the lid there is a built-in pouch and nine pockets with the original sets of needles by John James & Sons, Redditch. The detachable tray has several compartments, three with hinged covers, a pad fitted with mother o' pearl sewing instruments plus scissors, and a pin cushion. The compartment below the tray is empty.
