A Rectangular Red Leather covered Dispatch Box, the bevelled top stamped with Queen Victoria's crown and initials and with the owner's title THE CHIEF JUSTICE., with a central leather strap handle and silver a ring handle at the side, the green velvet interior (probably original) with raised sides. The Bramah lock and key are antique replacements.
