A Red Leather British Empire Dispatch Box C 1935, stamped with the Royal Crown of King George V together with the monogram GRI (Georgius Rex Imperator) with a leather carrying handle at the rear and A Bramah lock & a very fine key. The box is also stamped W.D. Sheppard, probably a recipient of the British Empire Medal. The black leather lined interior has raised sides, leather trellis work inside the lid, and locating pins.
