An Early 19th Century Solid Mahogany Jewellery or Watch Box with inset brass corners, corner straps, central campaign handle and 'sunflower' escutcheon. The lock stampd, Bramah Patent, 14 Piccadilly, retains its original key. The burgundy suede lined interior features a tray divided into six rectangles, and a sprung floor covering a hidden space. This is a heavy box with brass corner reinforcements and stout 90 degree hinges.
