An Edwardian Oak Domestic Post Box by The Army & Navy Stores, with cushioned top, standing on a stepped & splayed plinth, the shuttered brass posting slot engraved 'Letters' in red, the door with a Bramah patent lock & key, and an engraved ceramic 'Times of Post' tablet above a glass display window. The maker's ivorine trade label engraved, 'Army & Navy C.S.L.Makers', appears on the inside of the door. (C.S.L. Civil Service Stores).
