An Oak Regimental Post Box C1890 in the form of a Sentry Box with blind slatted sides & gabled roof, and with a shuttered posting slot, the door, with an arched window displaying an original watercolour of a soldier of the 8th (The King's) Regiment of Foot in the uniform of the mid 1770's. The lock retains its original key.
