An early 20th century Cast Iron Chubbs Patent Miniature Cast Iron Strong Box C 1920 having an iron swing handle and the Chubb lock, with the original key, bearing the maker's Queen Victoria Street address & fish trade mark and numbered 1147063. The oval cast brass key hole escutcheon has both Queen Victoria Street and St. Paul's Churchyard addresses, and the Royal Crown of George V above. The interior is painted red, and there is a hole in the base for securing the box to the floor.
