A fine set of Sir Walter Scott's Poetical Works comprising six volumes with lacquered papier mâché covers decorated with the Stuart Tartan, the dark blue leather spines ribbed & gold tooled, the pages gold edged, contained in its original fitted box, the top of which shows an etching of Scott by Chantry, and the front a black shield with the words 'Scott's Poetical Works'. The fitted interior is lined with dark blue velvet.
