A Black Leather Despatch Box, the chamfered top, with tooled borders, stamped with the royal insignia of Queen Victoria, and mounted with its original central swing brass handle. The interior is divided into two sections, and the maker's name and address is impressed on either side of the lock, which is stamped CHUBB & SON, Makers to Her Majesty, with address 57 St Paul's Churchyard London, and numbered 616722. The lock is a Chubb Detector, and it retains its original key.
