A very fine mid 19th century Figured Rosewood Box with flush brass side handles and radial brass along all the edges, with triple lines of brass framing the top and front. The inlaid brass plaque in the lid is engraved Hon Maurice Drummond Esq (a member of the distiguished Banking Family).
The interior is lined with emerald green silk velvet, the lining to the lid ruched, and a single line of brass runs along the edges of each section.
The working Bramah Patent lock retains its original key.
