J. C, VICKERY TO THEIR MAJESTIES THE KING & QUEEN, 179, 181, 183 REGENT STREET .
A small Edwardian Green Leather Stationery Box with turned brass end handles, and a fully functioning lock with original key. The exterior is decorated with gold tooled fleur de lys, and the lid doubles as a blotting folder. The interior is lined with watered silk and fitted with a brass screw-top ink bottle, dip pen, pencil & letter opener / page turner. The maker's details are stamped inside the blotting folder and underneath the box. The registration number 263435 tells us that the design was registered in 1895.
