A mid Victorian Papier Mâché Sewing Box with reeded sides and deckled edges, and decorated with hand painted flowers with mother o' pearl and abalone inlays and with gilt decoration. The interior retains its original blue silk and silver paper interior and sewing accessories, including a pair of silver handled scissors.
