A Mid 19th Century Black Leather Governmental Despatch Box, the chamfered lid with a central brass swing carrying handle and stamped with the initials F.B.P.S., the side with a security ring handle, the leather lined interior with raised sides and locating pins, the BRAMAH patent lock, stamped S. MORDAN & CO. LONDON with original key. C 1850.
