An impressive seven sided Cutlery Box with heavy Gothic brass straps, corner mounts & side handles, the front bearing an oval plate engraved with the initials S.M.A. and the the date 29th August 1855, the back with mounted initials N.I ?
The box is secured with a Chubb lock, with original key, and interior latches. it opens in three hinged sections to reveal a divided green baize lined interior.
