A Large Early 19th Century attractively figured Rosewood Box with heavy radial brass protecting all the edges, and recessed side handles, and with ornamental escutcheons on the top and around the keyhole, opening on heavy brass hinges incorporated into the brass facings framing the green silk velvet lined interior, ruched inside the lid. The Turner Patent lock has been restored and an original pattern key supplied.
