An early 19th Century Radial Edged Brass Bound Cuban Mahogany Gentleman's Box with brass campaign side handles and a recessed brass plate in the lid, engraved with a complex monogram.The box opens on sunken hinges, by E. WELLS & CO. PATENT which are hidden from the outside, and is secured with a lock stamped J. BRAMAH, 14 PICCADILLY. PATENT.
The interior of the box retains its original purple velvet lined interior with two trays fitted for watches & jewellery.
