A fine quality Sorrento Ware Olive Wood Jewel Box C1870 with marquetry depictions in the lid of dancing peasants and a musician, and a woman drinking on the verso. Various different patterns of mosaic designs border the top, as well as the sides and inside the lid. The red velvet lining is original. The lock is in good working order.
