A Red Leather Despatch Box C 1860, the bevelled top with a swing handle and blind tooled borders. The interior, with raised sides, retains its original red paper lining with a red leather panel inside the lid. The lock is stamped I. Bramah Patent, and retains its original key, which, if required, may be stored inside the box.
