A George V Dark Blue Leather Documents Box, the top with a central carrying handle and the initials embossed H.T. in Old English letters, the black leather lined interior has an unfitted tray. Chubb's name and address is embossed on either side of the lock. The seven lever Chubb Detector lock is stamped with the maker's 'fish' trade mark and with the serial number 1664211. It is unusual in as much as it is a self locking click-lock, and the lid rises by means of a sprung button in the link plate. A spare key is supplied.
