A Victorian Black Morocco Leather Military Despatch Box, the bevelled top with central brass handle and embossed INSPECTOR GENERAL OF ARTILLERY*, the leather lined interior with raised sides and stamped with the maker's name and address, the Bramah lock, working with a later key, and stamped Warranted S. Mordan & Co. London, with 'patent' below the royal crown.
