A good quality large mid 20th century Blue Morocco Leather clad Despatch Box, embossed with the Royal Insignia of Queen Elizabeth 11 and stamped ROYAL COMMISSION OF THE PRESS and with the initials DB. The interior is lined with black morocco leather. The box features a good Chubb lock with two keys, and a brass swing carrying handle at the rear.
