An Edwardian Black Leather Clad Dispatch Box stamped PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY - BOARD OF AGRICULTURE & FISHERIES, and with Edward VII's crown & emblem. The sturdy brass carrying handle is placed at the rear.

The box is furnished with a very rare and secure Davis Patent lock, the design of which was patented by George Davis in 1799, and used almost exclusively for Government dispatch boxes.
