An Edwardian Diamond Embossed Burgundy Leather Documents Box, the cushioned top with a gilded & recessed handle. It opens on connected hinges with quadrant stays revealing the green leather lined interior with a removable tray & pen tray. The lock, stamped Secure Bramah retains its original key. The box's excellent condition is due to the fact that it has has had very little use and the protection of a cowhide case, lined with lambswool.
