A French Army Officer's Early 19th Century Brass Bound Flame Mahogany Army Officer's Campaign Bidet or Wash Basin, with a recessed side handle & removable metal basin, with locking lid, the four detachable mahogany legs with decorative guilloché banded brass fittings (the top brass washer at the top of one of them is missing). In the last picture I have shown an extending brass rod which screws into the lid. This is included although I am not sure of its purpose.
