A George V Red Leather Governmental Despatch Box, the bevelled top with central inset brass handle flanked by a pair of black padded lozenges stamped in gold with George V's royal insignia. The black leather cloth lined interior features lattice work leather strips inside the lid, raised walls & stabilising studs. The Bramah Patent lock has seven sliders for maximum security and retains its original key.
