A Red Leather Cloth Despatch Box C 1920 with a swing swing handle in brass at one end, and the insignia of King George V mounted on the top. Inside the box retains its original paper lining stamped with the maker's name & address.
The left hand side of the interior features a pair of brass locating lugs for extra strength & stability.
The four lever Chubb Detector lock retains its original key and diamond shaped escutcheon.
