The complete works of Charles Dickens in 13 volumes with gold tooled green panelled leather spines & leather corners on cloth covered boards with marbled end papers, published by Chapman & Hall just before Dicken's death in 1870, & housed in the original solid mahogany cabinet with locking glazed doors The volumes are dated between 1865 & 1868, and each volume has a sketched frontispiece by one the original artists, which include George Cruickshank, C.R. Leslie, H.K. Browne, George Cattermole, T. Webster, Frank Stone & Marcus Stone.
