A 19th Century Documents Box C1870, the top with a decorative tooled leather design, and stamped with the royal coat of arms above the name and title & city, G. DAVIES, Office for Patents, MANCHESTER. In the front of the box, above the latch-lock there is a handwritten label with the name and reference Ratcliff D.R. 1221 71.. The interior, with raised sides, retains its original pale green paper lining with a star design.
