A rare Oak Victorian Post Letter Box with a gabled roof in the form of a panelled front door, having a vertical slot, below which is a mounted brass plaque engraved 'Elmstead Lodge'. The Rd. number 23454 on an inset brass plate inside the door tells us that this design was registered in 1894.
